GALACTIC REPUBLIC
A long time ago, the Jedi vanquished the Sith in order to rule the galaxy with peace and order. Now, thousands of years later, the Sith have revealed themselves once more and are leading a coup against the Galactic Republic.
In this committee, delegates will serve as generals and leaders of the Republic as they defend democracy in the Core Worlds and Outer Rim. It is crucial that delegates both fight for the values of the Jedi Order and defend the citizens of the galaxy in order to preserve the institutions which have served the Republic for millennia.
War is difficult, and as such, battles may take place across worlds and in space. As peacekeepers, the Jedi and their clone armies should be prepared to fight for the galaxy by any means necessary…
Meet the Staff!
Chair ~ Pranav Superpaneni
Hi, my name is Pranav, and I am pleased to serve as your Head Chair for Joint Crisis Star Wars: The Republic Committee, TrojanMUN 2026. I am a third-year student at USC majoring in Cognitive Science, with minors in Musical Theatre and Business Finance. I am originally from the east coast, but having moved significantly as a child, I since have made the San Francisco Bay Area my home for the past 11 years.
Scarlett Manuelian ~ Co-Chair
My name is Scarlett Manuelian, and for those of you in my committee, I’m so excited to voyage through this galaxy far, far away with you all! I’m currently a sophomore at USC majoring in Mathematics with an intent to minor in Legal Studies. I’m from Encino, California, which is just over 15 miles from campus! (So yeah, I’m an LA local.) I hope to eventually go to law school after college, but we’ll see if I stick to it. Other than Model UN, I’m a part of the Armenian Student Association at USC and the Society of Women in Law. In my free time, I like to watch sitcoms, spend time with friends, and thrift. I also really like crafting, painting nails, and sewing. I first officially began Model UN in my freshman year of high school, after already quitting it once in middle school. This is now my second semester in collegiate level MUN. I never would have anticipated I would continue that journey into college, but my friends had convinced me otherwise. I’m so glad I ultimately joined because I’ve made some of my closest friends and the best memories along the way. Honestly, MUN has been my favorite part of college so far. As for my Clone Wars friends, get your lightsabers out and be ready to fight! You guys are our only hope. Welcome to TrojanMUN. I can’t wait to see you all in October!
Aria Hoch ~ Coordinating Crisis Director
Aria is a sophomore studying Political Science and pursuing a career in law. Having previously been Director of DEI, she now serves a Director of Team Training for MUNSC. Outside of the club, Aria is involved with the Political Union, the Corporate Law and Financial Regulation Association, the League of Women Voters Los Angeles, and is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Born in California but an Oregon native, Aria loves spending her free time hiking, running, reading, and adventuring with her friends.
Will Wong ~ Deputy Crisis Director
My name is Will Wong! I grew up in Florham Park, New Jersey but I recently moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm currently majoring in Poly Sci, Philosophy, and Law! I grew up as a competitive swimmer so moving to the desert was definitely a huge change of pace. I’ve got tumbleweeds and cacti to keep me company out here. They don't say much, but they're great listeners—though the cacti always seem to have their hands up in exasperation at my stories... so I hope that means they like them. In my free time I love to read, hang out with friends, eat, swim and then eat some more. Fight on!
